WebJul 3, 2024 · Replacing docker volumes with bind mounts changes nothing. Mounting inside the host before starting the container or vice versa. Order changes nothing. Mounting with different uid/gid/permissions. Permissions change inside the container as one would expect, but www-data is the requirement. (and it is what’s set up by nextcloud by default) WebThe host really has no use for the mounts, so it didn't make sense to maintain them there. At the moment, I am configuring my NFS volumes like this (using Docker Compose v3 format): volumes: data: driver_opts: type: nfs o: addr=192.168.1.51,nolock,soft,rw device: :/volume2/nextcloud. This works great when the NAS is booted and working normally.

WebSonarr, and the download client are sitting in Docker on a NUC. The download location is in /plexmedia/nzbget/tv - which is a mounted volume that points to a Synology NAS, where all the files live. NZBGet is able to download and store TV shows here. WebWhen running rclone mount as a systemd service, it is possible to use Type=notify. In this case the service will enter the started state after the mountpoint has been successfully set up. Units having the rclone mount service specified as a requirement will see all files and folders immediately in this mode. WebBeen using rclone for a while, one of the things i still struggle to understand is why if i work on a cloud provider mounting the drive in rclone, then if i create / edit / delete any file from another device say my phone via a cloud provider app. Rclone mount won't be aware of the changes live, but rather i will need to respawn the service each time. chloestylish
