Type "/hcc" in chat and you will see the names of people that have broadcasted a heal using HealComm. If a person has HealComm they will only show up on the list after they have healed something, and only if you are in a raid or party with them. Type "/hcc reset" to reset names

Installing an up to date LibHealComm via another addon would then be loaded over the outdated version OP has and could very well solve this problem. It's not the best fix, but it is a fix.
