Websessment, and reflective dialogue have been around for centu-ries. However, recent practice was impacted significantly from theory emerging during the early twentieth century when John Dewey linked reflection with action. Specifically, Dewey (1910) described reflection as a deep and interpretive process that al-lows for careful judgement.
